Terms of engagement

Acceptance

By sending a briefing, paying a deposit, or signing an engagement letter with Stream Layerbase, you accept these terms. If an engagement letter states a different point on fee, span, or deliverables, that letter prevails for that point. The rest of these terms still apply.

The work

We provide financial planning analytics as professional services: cash-flow maps, board-pack pictures, scenario sittings, family-office year-ahead reviews, and quarterly budget-to-actual sittings. We are not your accountant of record, auditor, tax adviser, broker, or legal counsel. Pictures and legends are aids for your internal sittings. They are not a guarantee of future cash, credit, or trading results.

You remain responsible for the completeness of extracts you supply and for decisions you take after a walkthrough.

Fees and quotes

Quotes are in Georgian lari unless the engagement letter says otherwise. Starting figures on the rates page are indications. A quote is valid for the period stated in the letter, usually thirty days. Deposits reserve a source week. Work does not start until the deposit arrives unless we agree in writing.

Invoices are payable as stated on the letter. Late sums may pause remaining sittings.

Intellectual property

Working files, draft maps, and methods remain ours until the agreed set is delivered and paid for. On full payment, you receive a licence to use the delivered maps and legends inside your group for planning sittings, reprints for committees, and internal archives. You may not resell the maps, present them as another firm’s work, or use them in a public offering document without our written consent.

You keep ownership of your ledgers and extracts. We do not acquire your books by drawing from them.

Confidentiality

We treat source files and family sittings as confidential. We may name a client in a private case discussion inside the studio only with permission. We will not place your name in a public note without written agreement.

Liability

Our liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where Georgian law forbids a limit (including liability for wilful misconduct). We are not liable for lost profit, lost credit, or decisions taken by a board that received a pack and voted anyway. We are not liable for delays caused by extracts that do not arrive.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of Georgia.

Governing law

These terms and any engagement with Stream Layerbase are governed by the law of Georgia. The courts of Tbilisi have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply if you engage as a natural person outside a trade.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. Work already confirmed in a letter follows the terms in force on the date of that letter unless both sides agree otherwise.
