Refunds, deposits, and missed sittings

Stream Layerbase charges for professional sittings and map work, not for shipped goods. There is no checkout cart on this site. Refunds follow the engagement letter and this note.

How to ask

Write to hello@stream-layerbase.digital or call +995 32 555 7500. Name the engagement, the invoice or deposit date, and whether you wish to cancel, postpone, or query a fee. We answer refund questions within five working days.

Eligibility and timeframe

A deposit is refundable in full if you cancel in writing before the source week begins and before we have opened your extracts. Once source week has started, the deposit is applied to time already spent on reconciliation and first sketches. Any unused remainder is returned.

If you cancel a facilitated sitting day (scenario sitting or walkthrough) more than ten calendar days before the booked date, the sitting fee is refunded in full, less any non-refundable travel already paid. Between ten days and forty-eight hours, we retain fifty percent of the sitting fee unless we fill the day with another client, in which case we retain only the administrative time actually used. Inside forty-eight hours, or on a no-show, the sitting fee is not refunded.

Map sets already delivered and paid for are not refundable. If a draft has been sent and you stop the work, we invoice the portion completed (source week, draft, or revision) against the quote and refund any overpayment.

Partial refunds

Partial refunds apply when part of a span is unused: for example, a cash-flow mapping that stops after draft maps because extracts never arrive. Time spent is billed at the implied weekly rate of the quote; the rest of the fee, including unused walkthrough time, is returned.

What is not refunded

Printed maps produced at your request once you have approved a proof, travel already incurred to a site outside Tbilisi, and translator fees you asked us to book. We do not refund because a board disliked a month that the ledger actually contained.

We do not sell software licences, physical retainers of unused hours that roll forever, or training seats. Those models are not offered, so they have no refund line.

Method and processing time

Refunds go back by the same method as the payment where the bank allows, usually a transfer in GEL to the account that paid. Allow up to ten working days after we confirm the amount, plus your bank’s own time. We do not refund in cash at the studio.

Rescheduling

A sitting may be moved once without fee if you give at least seven days’ notice and we have a later slot within thirty days. A second move is treated as a cancellation of the original sitting under the notice rules above, and a new sitting is quoted.

Work already started

Opening extracts, listing gaps, and sending a first drawing all count as started work. You will receive whatever drafts exist at stoppage, marked as incomplete, unless you ask us in writing to destroy them. Destroying drafts does not increase the refund.

Exceptions

If we cannot keep a booked sitting for reasons on our side (illness of the named practitioner without a substitute you accept, or closure of the Kazbegi floor), you may choose a new date or a full refund of the unused sitting and of any deposit for work not yet begun. Statutory rights under Georgian law remain.
